My songs details

A short write up of the songs I have written and produced.

Homeland

Writing homeland came from the excitement of booking a holiday to sol in Poland to the village (home) of my late father Lewis/Ludwik Kus. a short story line in the song of his lifetime and activity. A great guy who worked hard all his life to bring ten children up with his wife Vera, the song put together with the video my nephew Kirk Kus made and also booked the holiday and did extensive research.

Lewis Anna

I wrote the song “Lewis Anna” for Anna. Anna is my cousin from Poland who wrote letters to my father in 1960-1985. Anna always wanted to come to England to meet her Uncle Ludwik, but for various reasons she was never able to do so. My father, Ludwik, died in 1985, so they never met, but exchanged many, many letters. This song was inspired by my late Aunt Doreen, who gave me a “gold medal” for a gardener’s pendant before her death. I also named a rose that can be seen in the painting and heard about in the song “Lewis Anna”.
My longtime friend Ken Sayles kindly painted a picture on canvas for me after I told him the story about Louis and Anna.
